I’m from doesn’t have a large product range, especially on those trends. But one thing that impresses me about them is that they are very good at producing effective products. One of them is the I’m From Ginseng Serum. When I first bought this serum, it actually came with their Ginseng Mask. I bought it with the intention to write this I’m From Ginseng Serum Review.

You undoubtedly recognize the K-beauty brand I’m From from Wishtrend. The recent success of this brand can be attributed to its Mugwort line. It is a cruelty-free company; some of the goods are even suitable for vegans. The brand, which draws inspiration from local nature, aims to provide sincere, reliable products using premium materials.

I’m From’s (English and Korean) Facebook pages claim that the brand first appeared around 2014. Currently, I’m From has a new Peach series that debuted soon following the Fig series.

The I’m From Ginseng Serum is produced with ginseng extract by a Korean company with the sole purpose of anti-aging. It also contains antioxidants that are good for rejuvenating and plumping the skin. It is also designed to improve blood circulation in order to make the skin complexion more fresh and lively whereby providing nutrition to the skin.

I have always used skincare but I’ve never truly focused much on anti-aging products. I mean, I’ve had my Vitamin C and stuff like that and the occasional firming cream for years now but I’ve never had something that really focuses on anti-wrinkle, preventing the formation of wrinkles and aging of the skin.

Packaging & Texture

The packaging is no big deal. What I love about it is the fact that it has an eye-drop applicator that picks and drops the serum beautifully well. Some others same like serums have very horrible eye dropper applicators.

But this one does a very good enough job. The serum comes in a bottle inside a paper package and looks so beautiful in the clear glass bottle.

The texture of the serum is medium weight, and isn’t too thick or too watery but still slightly runny on the skin. It absorbs well enough and does not leave any sticky residue. It has a brownish tint which turns transparent after absorbing into the skin.

But one thing I must say here is that using it as the last product will not be a good idea for those with dry skin, and it is hydrating enough for those with normal skin.

Scent

If you have been using ginseng products by Missha or History of Whoo, then you will definitely recognize the smell once you get it. It is the same as if they were the same family line of products.

I wouldn’t know about you, as for me, I don’t have a problem with the smell though I wouldn’t tolerate any kind of strong perfumy scent on my skincare if you are not a fragrance person, then you might not like this one.

But the thing about the scent is that it shouldn’t be a problem because, once the liquid dries off, the scent also disappears. So, if you don’t like the smell, it’s not a problem.

How to Use:

1. You start by cleansing your face and thereafter, apply a sufficient amount on your hand and use your fingertip to spread it out into a light coating across the face.
2. Use the heat from your hands to gently wrap the region where the serum has been applied to your face so that the skin can better absorb the nutrients.
3. You can use it daily, in the morning and at night for the best results.

It is known as an ideal ground for the cultivation of the highest quality of Ginseng in the world to the point that ginseng that comes from Geumsan county is referred to as (Geumsan Ginseng).

The Geumsan ginseng (as it is called) contains 30 different Saponins as well as Ginsenoside, meanwhile, Ginseng from the western world contains just about 13–15 different saponins.
